More than 5 years ago I found myself in a toxic relationship. When it finally ended, I was left feeling broken, worthless and extremely confused. Drowning heavily in negative emotions, somehow I found enough strength to run to Jesus.
I cried, prayed, fasted and then cried some more. This went on for days, and then one afternoon, as I was on my knees, I heard Him.
YES, I HEARD GOD!!!
He told me nothing was wrong with me. He told me that He loved me!
His voice was audible and it felt as though it came from my heart. In that very moment I was certain God was real. I mean really real!
I also understood that He cared about me and He cared about what I was going through. This revelation allowed me to heal - finding my self-worth through Jesus Christ!
Now, God has planted a purpose in my heart: to teach women who are looking to heal from toxic relationships how to love themselves through His eyes.
